Secrets of a Highland Warrior by Nicole Locke
Secrets of a Highland Warrior by Nicole Locke was the last book in the Lochmore Legacy Series, the forth one. After reading the third one, by an author I like, I said I should read the rest. The first one was ok, but the second one was so annoying. I wasn’t sure if I should read this one, but I did and I’m very happy I did. I loved the book and her style, I will get more books by her, that’s for sure.
Rory Lochmore and his McCrieff wife are meant to unite the two long-feuding clans forever. It didn’t, as we know from the other books, but it doesn’t matter, the book is lovely.
In this series, the first one starts in mid 19th century, the second book is at the start of the 19th century, going back to the 18th century for the third book, before finishing in the 14th century in this one. It was a great idea, really interesting and it made the stories interlink nicely.
The Lochmore Legacy Series:
– His Convenient Highland Wedding by Janice Preston
– Unlaced by the Highland Duke by Lara Temple
– A Runaway Bride for the Highlander by Elisabeth Hobbes

About the author: Nicole discovered her first romance novel in a closet, where her grandmother, the godmother in the romance black market, was hiding hundreds. Knowing her grandmother wouldn’t approve, Nicole hid in the closet to read them. It was only a matter of time before she was found out and given an offer she couldn’t refuse: enjoy them, but out in the living room please. Oh, and if she could go to the store and get a few more…. A few more? Nicole got two jobs.
She stopped reading romances at university, but she discovered them again when, at work, where another black market book swap occurred. Instead of swapping for another forgettable book, Nicole chose a romance (which she still reads). Now she writes romances too.
