Yugoslav Volunteers in the Spanish Civil War by Vjeran Pavlakovic

Yugoslav Volunteers in the Spanish Civil War by Vjeran Pavlakovic is a short, but really good book on the Yugoslavia’s involvement in the Spanish civil war. The numbers were not high, as about 2,000 volunteers joined, but the book covers what happened in a very well organised and interesting way.

Considering the topic it’s not going to appeal to a wide audience, but for me it was a great book. I used it for my studies and I’m happy I got the chance to read it.
