A Message from Ukraine by Volodymyr Zelensky

A Message from Ukraine by Volodymyr Zelensky is a short book containing 16 speeches, personally selected by him. These are war speeches as the russians went to war against Ukraine in 2014, years before the full-scale invasion of 2022.

A Message from Ukraine by Volodymyr Zelensky

The speeches start from 2019, with his inaugural address to the Ukrainian Parliament in Kyiv, 20 May 2019. It was so interesting to read those. I think the selection is telling on its own. This is a short book, worth buying and reading. I thought it was fascinating how he changed the references to appeal directly to the different nations, making historical appropriate analogies with UK, US, Germany, Israel. It is a great way to convey a more powerful message and he achieved that without any doubt.

    • You are right about him, he was the right man. But because he was elected by Ukrainians, they were at the “right time” too, knowing how much they have to loose if russia wins.
