Tudor Economic Problems by Peter Ramsey was such a great book. I had no intention of reading it cover-to-cover, but I did. I was doing an essay on Tudor economics and this book was so good, I didn’t want to put it down. It was published in the 1960s, but it is far from monotonous. This is the last book I’ve read for the Tudor period.
I wouldn’t imagine my readers would be interested in this book, as it deals with such a narrow topic. But, if you are studying history or economics, I would suggest reading it. It’s really good. The only thing I would have liked was to have a few graphs with details at the back, but the book is a history book, so it interprets the data. This was not a problem, as there are plenty of other books with those kind of details.
